how we champion causes that matter

  • USOLMT organizes, encourages, and supports grassroots efforts, collaboration, and collective action. Together we are powerful. 


  • USOLMT advocates for public policy change that makes the jobs of massage therapists easier, safer, and more cost-effective.


  • USOLMT strives to produce an advocacy newsletter once a month to our email list that contains state board meeting dates, advocacy updates, advocacy education, and advocacy resources. 


  • USOLMT attends state board meetings across the nation when possible to stay up to date on what's happening at the board level nationwide and delivers important developments to you.  


  • USOLMT researches and produces issue briefs on key issues in our industry and in our states and delivers suggested solutions and actions to improve these issues.


  • USOLMT produces surveys, scans socials, groups, and speaks to therapists one on one and provides engagement opportunities in groups to collect information and feedback that helps guide and inform our advocacy efforts.


  • USOLMT not only serves as an advocate, but, teaches you how to get involved and become an advocate to improve our industry.


  • USOLMT supports massage therapist's causes.


  • USOLMT assists our employee and employer members in making positive changes in their workplaces where both sides win.
