  • Tailor your approach to meet the specific needs, preferences, and goals of each client, considering their physical, emotional, and mental state.

EMPLOYEE-CENTRIC WORKPLACE

  • Demonstrate employee-centric procedures and policies in your workplace that provide supportive working environments where the health, well-being, and safety of your team comes first.
  • Allow your team to have input and be heard on the policies and procedures that affect their  jobs.

CULTURE OF OWNERSHIP

MUTUAL RESPECT AND BOUNDARIES

  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries, refraining from any behavior that could be perceived as sexual, discriminatory, or disrespectful in nature.
  • In your communications, employ professional dialogue rather than debate whenever possible. When engaged in professional debate, disagree in a professional and respectful manner.

CONTINUING EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  • Regularly evaluate and enhance your skills, knowledge, and techniques through training, workshops, and educational opportunities.

SELF-CARE AND PERSONAL WELL-BEING

  • Recognize the importance of self-care and maintaining your own physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
  • Seek support and utilize self-care activities to prevent burnout and ensure your ability to provide quality massage therapy services.

COLLABORATION AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING

  • Foster a culture of collaboration and support among your industry colleagues.
  • Engage in networking and building positive professional relationships where sharing knowledge, driving evolution within our field, and collaboration in areas where mutual passions and shared viewpoints can flourish.

see something, say something

  • If you become aware of inappropriate marketing messaging, inappropriate behavior, disrespect between colleagues, sexual misconduct, discrimination, misinformation, and/or criminal behavior, say something to the appropriate authorities.
  • Use your position to educate, inform, and protect the public, your colleagues, community, and  clients.
