Meanwhile, the demand for our services is growing exponentially, leading to limited availability of therapeutic care to those who need it most, and a higher rate of burnout and compassion fatigue among our industry's professionals.

The physical toll on a massage therapist's body is significant. For many years a lack of public understanding about massage therapy and its benefits has led massage consumers to believe they need "the deepest pressure possible", resulting in chronic pain and injury to massage therapist's bodies and more early exits from the profession than new graduates entering the field.

The mental toll on massage therapists in the current environment is profound. Serving clients amidst economic uncertainties, regulations that don't make sense, and a persistent wave of illegal activity under the cover of massage has led to increased stress and anxiety among practitioners.
