USOLMT is an Arizona nonprofit corporation with a national membership base covering 21 states including Puerto Rico, and an international following of colleagues & supporters. 

The United States Organization of Licensed Massage Therapists (USOLMT), your Modern Massage Association, is the industry’s newest professional organization.  We are still in our infancy as an organization, working towards getting our 501c6 status at this time.  Our founding members' financial contributions through membership to our organization are making this all possible. USOLMT members create, lead and support innovation that guides the future of our profession. USOLMT takes a modern approach to shift how we think, communicate, and implement the ideas that shape our future in light of current industry and labor trends.  We study, analyze, and apply these trends to massage therapy so we can accurately see what's happening in the industry. 

Professional excellence goes far beyond the treatment room, expanding into all interactions with the public at large, our clients and/or patients, our employers, managers, supervisors and co-workers, to our media outlets, city councils, state boards and government officials.

We are leading our profession by amplifying the voices of our professionals to those with the power to make the necessary changes, solidifying the professional development of our members, advocating for employee-centric workplaces across all sectors of our industry from the clinic to the spa, advocating for legislation and policies that protect and support those working in our field, and supplying meaningful engagement opportunities, nationwide news and information, research, consulting and training to prepare and position our industry for the future.  

We are committed to being a force for the elevation of massage therapy, supporting and promoting positive change in employment practices and training while always supporting the practice of the modern massage therapist.
